A translation is generally calculated in accordance with standard lines (1 line = 55 characters, including blanks). Sometimes particularly in the Netherlands or Great Britain it is calculated in accordance with the number of words. Unless otherwise agreed, the calculation is based on the amount of text in the target language.
I would be glad to make you a non-binding offer for your texts free of charge. An exact cost estimate is best made on the basis of a Word file. However, if you don"t have a Word file, I will gladly accept other file formats including PDF as a basis for my offer. These files can then be turned into a countable format using a conversion program and text recognition software. Naturally you can also send me your text as a scanned graphics file or by fax.
